Tom Molter, an outspoken and active member of the Animal Rescue Fund of St. Joseph County, said he was stunned by the shortage of support and sympathy for the animal.

Finally, with traffic overflowing from the St. Joseph County fairgrounds entrance onto East Main Street, organizers of the twice-a-year household hazardous waste collection and recycling of electronics, tires, paper and latex paint directed motorists to their destination.
